200/20/2

Projekat 200/20/20 zasnovan je na knjizi The Modern Library, u kojoj Australijanka Carmen Callil (osnivač izdavačke kuće Virago) i irski pisac Colm Toibin navode sopstveni izbor od 200 najboljih romana napisanih na engleskom jeziku u drugoj polovini dvadesetog vijeka.

 

Izazove, poteškoće i ljepotu ovog smjelog poduhvata Callil i Toibin su opisali u uvodu knjige, koja u dodatku daje i bogat pregled značajnih naslova u raznim žanrovima i po raznim kategorijama objavljenih u navedenom periodu. Veliki broj imena nije poznat našoj publici, zastupljene su sve anglofone zemlje, uključujući i bivše britanske kolonije.

 

Cilj projekta je da analizira ovaj izbor, iznese zanimljivu statistiku, predstavi određene autore i romane, i prezentira rezultate kroz radionice ili neku drugu formu. Zanimljivih činjenica i ideja je bezbroj, projekat 200/20/2 upravo zaranja u njih, svi zainteresovani su dobrodošli da se pridruže!
